How to Use Risk Radar

Accessing Risk Radar:

• After installing the Risk Radar app from the Jira Marketplace, while creating or editing an issue, click on the Apps from the dropdown menu and select Risk Radar.

• You will see the app appear under the Title and Description fields.

Evaluating Risk:

• Once the app is open, you can start assessing the risk by following three simple steps:

  1. Answer three questions by selecting the appropriate values from the dropdown menus:

     • Likelihood of an issue? (Low / Medium / High)

     • Impact on the project? (Minor / Moderate / Critical)
       
       

       Open

       

        

     • Difficulty to fix? (Easy / Medium / Hard)
       
       

       Open

       

        

  2. Based on your selections, the app will automatically calculate the Risk Score.

  3. Click Save to store the risk assessment along with the selected values.

Additional Options:

• You can also check the Add Comment box to automatically generate a text comment under the issue, attributed to the author who created the assessment.

  Note: The comment will appear after you reopen or refresh the issue.
