Risk Radar is a Jira Cloud application built using Atlassian Forge (React, Forge UI Kit, Jira REST API). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle user data within our app.

2. Data Collection and Storage

What Data Do We Collect?

✅ Personal Data: Risk Radar does not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII).
✅ Usage Data: The app does not track, analyze, or store any user activity beyond the Jira environment.
✅ Risk Assessments: All risk-related data is stored securely within Jira using issue properties through the Jira REST API.
✅ Third-Party Sharing: No data is transmitted to external servers, third-party services, or external databases.

3. Data Usage

Risk Radar processes data solely within the Jira Cloud ecosystem. The application only reads and writes risk assessment values into Jira issues, and this data remains within the user’s Jira instance.

❌ Track user activity.
❌ Collect IP addresses or device details.
❌ Send data to external servers.

✅ Store risk assessments within Jira issue properties.
✅ Ensure data security by following Atlassian’s best practices for Forge applications.

4. Security & Privacy Protection

Risk Radar follows Atlassian Forge security guidelines to ensure your data remains protected:

🔒 Built-in Security:

  • Data is stored within Jira using issue properties (not external servers).

  • Uses requestJira API, the recommended method for secure data storage in Jira Cloud apps.

  • No direct database storage or external log collection.

🔍 Privacy Protection:

  • Risk Radar does not request or process any personal information.

  • No cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools are used.

5. User Rights & Data Deletion

💡 How to Delete Your Data
If you uninstall the Risk Radar app, all associated risk assessment data stored in Jira issue properties will be removed automatically.

✅ Users can also manually delete their risk assessment entries via Jira issue properties before uninstalling the app.

🚀 Your Control Over Data
Risk Radar does not store data outside of Jira, so once you remove an issue or the app itself, no data remains.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as needed to comply with Atlassian Marketplace policies and improve data security. Any updates will be posted here.
