๐Ÿ“ฆ Installation

Flow Time Report is a Forge-based app available for Jira Cloud. To install it:

  1. Go to Apps โ†’ Find new apps

  2. Search for Flow Time Report

  3. Click Try it free

  4. Grant the required permissions

The app will be available in the issue panel of every issue type across all projects.


๐Ÿ” Permissions

Upon installation, the app requests the following minimal scopes:

  • read:jira-work โ€“ to read issue details and status fields

  • write:jira-work โ€“ to save badge selections using issue properties

  • read:jira-user โ€“ to display user names in the changelog

  • storage:app โ€“ (optional) for storing app-level settings or future extensions

โœ… Make sure these scopes are approved in your siteโ€™s admin settings to ensure full functionality.


๐Ÿงฉ Configuration

No setup is required.
However, as an admin, you can:

  • Limit usage to certain issue types via project settings

  • Educate your team on how to assign badge values for better tracking

  • Export history for reporting or external tools


๐Ÿ”„ Updates

Flow Time Report updates automatically via Atlassian Forge.
No action is needed from your side.

๐Ÿงผ Uninstalling

To remove Flow Time Report:

  1. Go to Manage Apps

  2. Search Flow Time Report

  3. Click Uninstall

Note: This does not delete issue properties saved (e.g., badges).
You can manually remove these via the REST API if needed.
