๐ฆ Installation
Flow Time Report is a Forge-based app available for Jira Cloud. To install it:
Go to Apps โ Find new apps
Search for Flow Time Report
Click Try it free
Grant the required permissions
The app will be available in the issue panel of every issue type across all projects.
๐ Permissions
Upon installation, the app requests the following minimal scopes:
read:jira-workโ to read issue details and status fieldswrite:jira-workโ to save badge selections using issue propertiesread:jira-userโ to display user names in the changelogstorage:appโ (optional) for storing app-level settings or future extensions
โ Make sure these scopes are approved in your siteโs admin settings to ensure full functionality.
๐งฉ Configuration
No setup is required.
However, as an admin, you can:
Limit usage to certain issue types via project settings
Educate your team on how to assign badge values for better tracking
Export history for reporting or external tools
๐ Updates
Flow Time Report updates automatically via Atlassian Forge.
No action is needed from your side.

We recommend installing in a sandbox or a test project and validating with test issues before scaling to production use.
๐งผ Uninstalling
To remove Flow Time Report:
Go to Manage Apps
Search Flow Time Report
Click Uninstall
Note: This does not delete issue properties saved (e.g., badges).
You can manually remove these via the REST API if needed.
